“You only need one man to love you. But him to love you free like a wildfire,
crazy like the moon, always like tomorrow, sudden like an inhale
and overcoming like the tides.
Only one man and all of this.” ― C. JoyBell C.
Often times, even tough my clients are all gung-ho about doing day-after shoots, they often back out the night of their wedding after realizing how exhausting the actual day is. I can't blame them, I mean, just the fact that you have to put on the wedding dress again and having to put make up on after the happiest, albeit exhausting day of your life, can incite fear on anyone. But I got to hand it to Andrea and Albert for being such troopers. Not only they committed but they chose to wake up in the morning so we can drive to Half-moon Bay and get that early-morning fog that Northern California is known for. But if I can be honest, while I was waiting in the hotel lobby for them, I was half-expecting them to be cranky and tired. And just plain not in the mood for another photo session. And I was dreading a 45 minute drive of awkward silence to our location. But to my surprise they were the exact opposite. They were as spunky and adventurous as the day I first met them. Which always make for the best photos!
