“Each friend represents a world in us,
a world possibly not born until they arrive,
and it’s only by this meeting that a new world is born.” - Anais Nin
Me and my wife have been good friends with Sam and Liz for a good while now. Although we want to see them more often, sometimes the little nuances in our lifestyles, interests and priorities prevents us from doing so. While its pretty common for the wife and I to be content in settling in pretty early on a friday night, Sam and Liz’ weekend is barely starting. Camping, partying or bar-hopping. Their schedules are always jam-packed with plans and activities. But despite all these differenes in interests, I am happy to say that they have been a part of our lives from the beginning. From the first time Cristina and I started dating until they were chosen to become god-parents to Sophia. Maybe this little venture of theirs will bring us all closer together. What better way to spend friday nights than with a bottle of wine and venting about parenthood?
